A great Life Story about a Single Mom

I often get emails and letters across my desk.  Here is one that I got recently from a single mom who attended Kurios last month.  Read it and be encouraged at how God works!

“I am a single mom and sole provider of my son.  We are abuse survivors. I suffered a back injury a couple of years ago and am still not healed fully.  I am not able to work as much as I had before.  I work enough to survive and pay bills.  Sometimes it’s all I have to get through the day.  I know it is God that gets me through each day.   God always provides when I cannot.

When (Pastor) Jay asked the single mothers to raise their hands for additional prayer I raised my hand high in the air.  I have to admit I immediately pulled my hand out of midair when he told the people sitting next to a single mom raising their had to give them money out of their wallets.  I guess I thought I would become invisible.  Needless to say I was not invisible.  I had money given to me, passed to me, thrown in a chair next to me, and anonymously given during the whole service.

From the depths of my heart, thank you to all of you!  May the Lord bless you twice as much as he has blessed me.  I am truly blessed.  God is amazing!  God always provides when I cannot.”
